inscription: 名将九州より // 上洛のとき豊 // 前国内裏の// 沖俎板ヶ瀬にて // 難風に出会ひ船 // 頭与次兵衛を切 // 死骸を海に投込 // しより以来与次 // 兵衛灘といふ, printed in black ink within rectangular cartouche on red, white, and blue ground, upper right of right sheet Transliteration (Translation): Meishō Kyūshū yori // jōraku no toki Bu-// zen no kuni dairi no // oki manaita-ga-se nite // nanpū ni deai Sen-//dō Yoshijibei o kiri // ji gai o umi ni nagekae-//shi yori konokata // Yoshijibei-nada to iu (When the ship carrying the famous commander traveled to the capital from Kyūshū, it encountered an ill wind in the Chopping Block Shoals in the open sea off Buzen province.
