Bio

After serving in the Navy from 1943 to 1946, Paul Gunn completed his education and art training at Edinboro State Teacher's College in Pennsylvania and the California College of Arts and Crafts. He came to Oregon to teach art at Oregon State College (now Oregon State University), where he became chairman of the art department in 1964. Gunn exhibited frequently at the Portland and Seattle Art Museums. In 1948 he began to concentrate on printmaking. He received several awards at the annual Northwest Artist Exhibits from 1950 to 1956.
