Bio

Leonard Kimbrell taught art history and printmaking at Eastern Oregon State College in La Grande in 1958-1959. He moved to Portland State University in 1962 where he taught art history and became head of the Art Department in 1977. He was part of a four person show sponsored by the Artist Membership of the Portland Art Museum (1959) with Pattie Dodd, Nelson Sandgren, and Richard Newstrum.

Kimbrell was also an art critic, lecturer, and writer on art history.
