Bio

Hiler was a proponent for modern art and best known for his abstract works. Born in Minnesota, he studied at the Rhode Island School of Design, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and University of Paris, where he supported himself by playing in a jazz band and managing a nightclub on the Left Bank.
