Located in N Utah at confluence of Ogden & Weber Rivers; began as community built around Ft. Buenaventura, a log stockade with irrigated garden built by Miles M Goodyear ca. 1844; purchased by Mormons 1847 & laid out by Brigham Young in 1850.
