Unified Silla Kingdom

Description

In the mid-seventh century, the Unified Silla kingdom extended its rule throughout the Korean peninsula, bringing stability and prosperity. Gyeongju potters met the demands of an expanded clientele with innovative shapes, such as this wide-mouthed bottle, and the use of new decorative techniques, especially stamped designs.
