Description

An important member of the San Francisco Bay Area art scene, Beth Van Hoesen often worked side by side with her colleague and friend Wayne Thiebaud. Like Thiebaud, Van Hoesen explored the beauty of everyday objects, including foodstuffs. Her attentiveness to detail and elegant line imbue this humble lunch with a quiet grace.
