Description

Like his Pop Art contemporaries, California-based painter and printmaker Wayne Thiebaud focuses on everyday objects, including food. But unlike Pop artists, who favored flat, smooth surfaces produced via lithography and screenprint, Thiebaud instead uses etching and drypoint to create a rich, velvety line.
