Description

Better known for his patronage of artists such as Olin Warner and Albert Pinkham Ryder than for his own paintings, C.E.S. Wood was a gifted amateur whose watercolors and oil paintings frequently show the influence of the impressionist style favored by his friends, J. Alden Weir and Childe Hassam.
