Details

Style and culture of a group of Native Americans Chinook who are closely related to the Wishram, both being Plateau tribes that share many cultural aspects of the Northwest Coast tribes. When Europeans arrived, the Wasco lived along the banks of the Columbia River, near The Dalles. Today the tribes are part of the Warm Springs Reservation in Oregon and Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation in Washington.
