Details

In 1970, Paul and Clara Gebauer gave the Portland Art Museum a substantial portion of their superb collection of Cameroon art, assembled during their years in Cameroon, where they served as missionaries. A subscription campaign enabled the Museum to purchase much of the balance of the collection.
