Christopher Bennett received his BFA in Photography from Indiana University and earned an MFA in Photography from the University of Hartford's Hartford Art School. He founded and was the first director of Portland's Newspace Center for Photography. Bennett relocated to Detroit, MI, in 2017, where he established Detroit Image Works, a photography gallery and printing space. Bennett's photography has been collected by the Philadelphia Museum of Art and numerous private collectors.
