Description

Thomas Hart Benton was one of the first artists Lewenthal contacted to join AAA and, with Grant Wood, the most popular. His prints celebrate the work of laborers and promote themes both appealing and accessible to the public, such as a farmer splitting wood for the kitchen stove.
