Description

Jon Corbino was born in Sicily and came to the U.S. in 1911. He began painting at age thirteen, receiving his training at the Ethical Cultural School and the Art Students League in New York. Corbino painted a wide range of subjects, but his most popular works were images of classic American amusements: picnics, family outings, and circuses.
