Bio

Affiliations: Northwest School, WPA Federal Art Project, instructor at the Burnley School of Professional Art, which became the Art Institute of Seattle, he also taught at Cornish College of the Arts. Education: Self taught, learned academic drawing through a correspondence school and art history at the public library. Exhibits: solo exhibition at the Seattle Art Museum in 1941 and 1961, William Cumming: The Image of Consequence at Frye Art Gallery in 2005.
