Bio

Little is known of the life or career of Ishikawa Toyomasa other than that he studied with Ishikawa Toyonobu and may have been his son. He worked in both benizuri-e and nishiki-e, and like Toyonobu was caught up in the great wave of Suzuki Harunobu's style. Toyomasa specialized in prints of children.
