Little is known of the life or career of Ishikawa Toyomasa other than that he studied with Ishikawa Toyonobu and may have been his son. He worked in both benizuri-e and nishiki-e, and like Toyonobu was caught up in the great wave of Suzuki Harunobu's style. Toyomasa specialized in prints of children.
