Description

Kyoto potter Morino Taimei has won an enthusiastic international audience for his bold, sculptural forms and the sense of design he brings to each work. In this example, characteristic of his forms of the 1990s, he animates the square shape of the vessel with concentric arcs of color formed by layers of muted glazes.
