Jacqueline Logan (1901–1983), spelled "Jackeline" by Prášilova in this print, was a leading silent film star. In 1920, after a six-month stint on Broadway as a Ziegfeld Follies Girl, Logan transitioned to movies, winning roles in more than fifty films. She appeared in six movies in 1924 alone, the same year this portrait was made.
